"cause it's not morning!"

friday - went to see kevin devine at the bowery ballroom. fucking amazing. he is the love of my life. this is nothing new. chatted with brian bonz for a bit too, and he's ill.

saturday - went to cosi for flatbreads and s'moreos and life was awesome until god decided to shit all over us with a hurricane, what the fuck. we couldn't get a cab so we had to walk all the way back home and wanted to die. vicki's friends from pratt stopped by later and we watched ratatouille and i gave vicki a makeover and now there's hair all over the kitchen and we don't own a broom, it's great. we went to angels & kings to see i am the avalanche play an acoustic set which was fucking sweet, i want to marry all of them and live happily ever after. later we met up with tim, my friend from home who i haven't seen in over a year. we got sushi and he and vicki split a six pack and we sat on a stoop in st. mark's and we caught up. some guy tried to sell us hair dye he stole from a convenient store. it was unbelievably good to see him again. tim, not the other guy. it was exactly what i needed. 

sunday - i walked all the way to the bookstore and it was closed. shitty biz. i spent the night watching scrubs and devising plans with vicki to gatecrash fashion week.

monday - cut my bangs, spent $548 on text books, overdrew my checking account, went to see the dark knight for the sixth time, saw jesse from ak at the theater, etc etc etc. the dark knight still gets better every time i see it.

tuesday - best trainwreck tuesday evar. gym class heroes cd release party - i've never seen that place so packed. met tons of cool new people and saw lots of my good ol faves. adrien grenier was there, and so were a couple girls from danity kane? hahaha awesome? and the real world but they're always there. crazy shit went down. peep the pictures over at metromix.com.

last night we went all the way to the west village to go to the new york couture show/party at mansion. i got in but vicki's id got turned down and we had to come all the way back. really sweet. especially because we opted to go to that show instead of going to the bowery where brian bonz would have listed me for his show. yep, good going! tomorrow night i'm on the guest list for the fashion rocks party in chelsea and also might be hanging out with derek and laura? we'll see we'll seeee!
